Fluency Workshop in Salta
The Hopkins Creative Language Lab will present the solo performance, "For God's Sake," written, directed and acted by Alfred Hopkins, in the Argentine colonial city of Salta at 7 p.m. on May 19, 2007.
The poor professor! He gets terribly muddled when trying to explain how to conjugate the verb to be and rushes headlong past the TV set, where an actor is struggling with Hamlet’s famous speech. Oh for God’s sake! Who is that barefoot being sitting in the front row talking about how lonely things are in the Heavens? Sorry. In order to find out you’ll have to come to Salta, Argentina and see the show on May 19th.
There will also be a tea party and presentation of the ELT reader "Tea for Two, a tale for you" by Mr. Hopkins and Alicia Ramasco, on Friday the 19th from 4 to 8 p.m. On Saturday participants will have a chance to tackle applied storytelling and drama at 9 to 12 p.m. and 3 to 6 p.m. respectively.
